From: 2 passengers Day 1 Guatemala City Airport - Guatemala Arrival in Guatemala City airport and local transportation. Lodging. Day 2 Guatemala - Antigua - Atitlan Lake Breakfast. Departure to take a city tour by ground transportation with a P.T.P guide, to know the Cathedral, La Merced and San Francisco churches. Continue to Atitlan Lake considered by Huxley the most beautiful Lake in the world, surrounded by 3 volcanoes and twelve indian villages. Lodging. Day 3 Atitlan Lake - Chichicastenango - Atitlan Lake Breakfast. Departure from Atitlan to the indian village of Chichicastenango, one of the best indian markets in Latinamerica. The market days are Thursdays and Sundays. After this visit, return to Atitlan Lake. Lodging. Day 4 Atitlan Lake - Santiago - Huehuetenango Breakfast. Boat sail (Public boat) to the Tzutuhil village of Santiago. Bright colors and ancient designs can be seen on the indian typical clothing, proudly worn by these highland inhabitants. Return to Panajachel to continue the trip to Huehuetenango; on the road we will take a tour of San Andrés Xecul church. Lodging. Day 5 Huehuetenango - Todos Santos - Guatemala. Breakfast. During the morning we will visit the Todos Santos Market. After this visit we return to Guatemala City. Lodging. Day 6 Guatemala City - Copán Breakfast. Departure from Guatemala crossing the border with Honduras, to visit Copán and see the stelae, pyramids, ball courts and burial grounds, all of a great archaeological value. Lodging. Day 7 Copán - Quiriguá - Izabal Area Breakfast. Departure from Copán to the Guatemalan Caribbean coast. On the road visit to the archaeological site of Quiriguá, where some of the best Mayan World stelae are found. After the visit, continue to Puerto Barrios, at midday arrival in Izabal area. Lodging. Day 8 Izabal Area - Río Dulce - Peten Area Breakfast. Early in the morning a boat trip (Public boat) through Río Dulce, an exceptional ecological paradise. At the end of the river a bus will be waiting to continue to Petén Area. Lodging. Day 9 Peten Area - Tikal - Peten Area Breakfast. We will visit the Mayan city of Tikal, undoubtedly the best example of classical Mayan culture. Picnic lunch in the park. Return to Petén Area. Lodging. Day 10 Petén Area (Day off) Breakfast. Day off to take an optional tour, like Ceibal and Uaxactun arqueological sites, or Ixpanpajul adventure park. Lodging. Day 11 Petén Area - Yaxha - Guatemala Breakfast. We will visit the Mayan city of Yaxha and its sacred lagoons. At afternoon return to Flores to take the flight back to Guatemala City. Lodging. Day 12 Guatemala - Pacaya Volcano - Antigua Breakfast. At morning we start to climb this volcano of scarce difficulty. After an hour of walking the traveler will be at 50 meters from the crater of one of the 3 active volcanoes in Guatemala. Transportation to Antigua. Lodging. Day 13 Antigua Breakfast. Day off to take an optional tour, like climbing Pacaya volcano, coffee tour, city tour or playing golf. Lodging. Day 14 Antigua - Guatemala City airport Breakfast. Transportation to the airport and end of our services.
